What is Tiger Iron?

Tiger Iron is a rare natural rock composed of three remarkable minerals: Golden Tiger's Eye, Hematite and Red Jasper. Together, they create dramatic bands of gold, bronze, black and deep red, making every piece completely unique.

How old is this stone?

Tiger Iron is believed to have formed around 2.7 billion years ago, making it one of the oldest decorative stones on Earth. Its minerals were created through ancient geological processes long before complex life existed on our planet.

How did these minerals become one stone?

Over immense periods of time, layers of silica-rich sediments and iron-rich minerals were deposited on the ancient seabed. Heat, pressure and natural geological activity gradually fused these layers together, creating the striking bands seen today. Later, portions of the rock transformed into the silky, light-reflecting Tiger's Eye that gives the stone its famous golden shimmer.

Look closely and you'll discover flowing bands of shimmering gold, rich reds and metallic greys. Every line, colour and pattern is entirely natural—a record of billions of years of Earth's history preserved in stone.
